How to Create a Sub-Domain

This guide explains how to connect a custom sub-domain (like portal.example.com) to a website or funnel hosted on Intellia. It involves configuring domain settings within Intellia and updating DNS records with your domain provider.

Step 1: Choose Your Sub-Domain

Decide on a sub-domain (e.g., portal.yourdomain.com or funnels.yourdomain.com).

Step 2: Access Domain Settings in Intellia

Log in to your Intellia account.
Go to Settings > Domains.
Click "Connect a Domain."

Step 3: Update DNS Records in Domain Provider

Log in to your domain provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare).
Find the DNS Settings/Zone Editor section.
Add a CNAME And A Record:

For A Record
Host : @

Value : 162.159.140.166

For CNAME Record
Host : www

Value : sites.ludicrous.cloud

Wait a few minutes for the DNS to update.

Done!

Your sub-domain is now live and connected! If it doesn’t work right away, wait up to 24 hours for DNS propagation.

Step 5: Connect the Sub-Domain to a Funnel or Website

Go to Sites > Funnels or Websites.
Open the funnel or website you want to connect.
Click Settings and select your new sub-domain from the dropdown.
Click "Save."
