It’s important to optimize for mobile because the sizes and layouts for desktop and mobile differ significantly. While the desktop view might look perfect, elements like text, images, padding, and margins can appear larger or misaligned on mobile devices.
By optimizing for mobile, you can:
Adjust text sizes to ensure readability.
Resize images so they fit properly.
Fine-tune padding and margins to prevent overlapping or excessive spacing.
Without mobile optimization, the design may look fine on a desktop but appear messy and unprofessional on mobile devices, which could affect user experience and engagement.
To optimize your funnel or website for mobile in Intellia, follow these steps:
1. Access the Funnel/Website Builder
Select the funnel or website you want to edit.
2. Switch to Mobile View
Open the editor for the selected funnel or website.
In the top-right corner of the editor, click on the mobile icon to switch to the mobile view.
3. Adjust Mobile-Specific Settings
Font Size & Spacing: Resize text and adjust padding/margin to ensure everything fits well on a smaller screen.
Visibility Settings: Use the visibility toggle to hide or display certain sections for mobile or desktop.
Example: Click on a section > Advanced Tab > Visibility > Select Mobile Only or Desktop Only.
Avoid large blocks of text. Break up content into smaller chunks for easier readability.
Ensure that any horizontal scrolling is eliminated.
After making adjustments, click the Save button and published then click Preview to test how it looks on mobile.
Use different devices to check compatibility.
Once satisfied, save your work by clicking the Save button and published in the top-right corner of the editor.
Note: When working on your funnel, it's essential to understand the difference between the Save button and the Publish button:
If the domain is not connected yet, you can simply click the Save button to retain any adjustments.
Once the domain is connected, you must click the Publish button after saving your changes. This ensures that all the adjustments are live and won't disappear.
Always double-check to publish your changes when the domain is connected to avoid losing your updates!
Keep text concise for better readability.
Use mobile-friendly fonts and ensure a minimum font size of 14px.
Make sure all interactive elements, like buttons and links, are easy to tap.
